John (Jack) McKenna
Jack is a US and UK trained mediator and arbitrator who was trained in mediation and international arbitration at the University of Houston Law Center. He is a Credentialed Mediator with the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association (TMCA) specializing in Civil and Commercial Mediation, Family Mediation and International Arbitration. Jack also received mediation training at the University of Central Lancashire Law School (UK) where he is certified by the Civil Mediation Council (CMC) and is Accredited in Civil and Commercial Mediation.
His career began with the British Ordnance Survey (UK National Mapping Agency) with training in photogrammetry and surveying (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor Standards). Further training was received at Wild (now Leica) in Heerbrugg, Switzerland.
He has over forty years experience as an international Subject Matter Expert (SME) working with governments of developing countries to implement land records management technology that speeds up and makes more affordable the process of securing land tenure for the poor. He has worked as an SME in 53 countries in property rights, land ownership, adjudication, land registration, and property boundary dispute resolution in international court.
Jack is currently the Managing Director of Civil and Commercial Mediation located in Galveston, Texas offering arbitration and mediation services to a broad range of clients in the civil and commercial fields.
